Jeffersons Embargo

Jefferson's embargo made all trade out of the US difficult. Jefferson did this to keep the british and French from stealing their supplies for their war. It ended up causing the country a lot of problems. The merchants in the country couldn't make any money on trades and merchandise. It sent the country into an economic problem no one could make any money. It was a horrible situation in which money was in the trash.
