4th Amendment

What is the 4th amendment? Guards against unreasonable searches and seizure, along with requiring any warrent to be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the write of assistance, which is a type of general search warrent, in the American Revolution.
